winter style.

Back from a really, really long break. My mind is insane right now, I have so much to think about but I don't really know how to unload it in blog format so perhaps this could be the beginning.

I've always enjoyed Alexa Chung's style since I was in year 6. I used to sit in front of the TV watching Gok's Fashion Fix, really only to see what Alexa was wearing (and to criticize some of Gok's sometimes extremely whack styling choices). I think what attracts me most to her is that she's eurasian, even though she's only a quarter chinese you can still see it in ways other than her surname.

What I love about her style is her constant ability to transform such typical classic pieces (trench coats, loafers) into something that looks new and insanely stylish. She takes new season trends that are glossy, shiny and new but somehow makes them look very laidback and casual in a way that looks as though she literally just threw them on.

This type of style is what I hope to embrace throughout the cooler months ahead. I have already started to do so and will hopefully post some pictures up if I am enthusiastic enough.
